It wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t.
Seeing personalized workspaces in a completely open factory is something special. Made even more so by the fact that these work stations get passed down through generations with the next of kin taking over that very space. I can’t quite put it in words but I find a sense of comfort in the fact that someone with such a set of values is responsible for the making of the product.
An original functioning shuttle from one of only eight looms left in the world that produce the premier jacquard scarves in a true scarf width of 75cm. Being as old as they are, the looms spin a weave so open that it renders the jacquard pattern in the most beautiful blurred way.
Nested in the south western corner of Biella, this mill now owns all eight of these looms and is dedicated to the production of scarves and developing new yarn blends for them. Run by some of the most sincere, genuine and talented group of people, it is an honor to work with them.
